Sherman a deep well of fund management knowledge
In his role, Sherman is in charge of DoubleLine’s Investment Management sub-committee, implementing processes across investment teams. Additionally, he is the lead portfolio manager for multi-sector and derivative-based strategies. Sherman also has posts on DoubleLine’s Executive Management and Fixed Income Asset Allocation committees In 2018 Sherman was named as one of “10 Fund Managers to Watch” by Money Management Executive. Prior to joining DoubleLine, he worked at TCW as a portfolio manager and quantitative analyst.

Aside from his fund management expertise, Sherman hosts his own podcast, The Sherman Show. Additionally, he was a statistics and mathematics instructor at University of Pacific and Florida State University. He also has experience in the classroom teaching quantitative methods for Level 1 candidates in the CFA LA/USC Review program.Sherman holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of the Pacific and an M.S. in Financial Engineering from the Claremont Graduate University.
